Running on 26-27th May and now in its seventh year, Love Saves The Day is back in 2018 to celebrate the best of Bristol’s brilliant underground music scene and incredible international artists across many genres.
The lineup this year, as ever, is not one to be missed. Across the weekends' stages curated by The Blast, CRACK magazine, Knee Deep in sound and many more Bristol favourites will be showcasing some huge talents from Bristol and around the world.
Headlining the main stage on Saturday is big beat pioneer Fatboy Slim. Known for hits like ‘Right Here, Right Now’ and ‘Praise You’ the dancefloor veteran always puts on a great show with crazy visuals, his set will be sure to get Eastville Park moving.
Sunday night is headlined by 2017 Mercury prize winner Sampha. The 29-year-old London native is known for his beautiful voice and songwriting. He’s had a huge past 12 months with his debut LP Process winning awards and garnering huge critical success. His much-anticipated performance should be the perfect end to the weekend.
Further down the bill are many more excellent artists. Saturday’s lineup includes the likes of Bristol locals My Nu Leng, Australian producer and DJ Mall Grab, Glaswegian trance favourite Denis Sulta and of course the irrefutably ingenious Four Tet.
On Sunday you can catch performances from UK Hip Hop darling Loyle Carner, Kentuckian DJ, producer and label owner The Black Madonna, dub group Mungos HiFi and many more.
Each day offers many stages of many genres of music meaning there’s something for everyone. Heavy basslines and 2 step beats your thing? No problem. Huge Disco fan? LSTD has got you covered.
For a fantastic weekend of music make sure you head down to Eastville Park this May. As ever the lineup is impeccable, now fingers crossed for some sunshine.
