Creating a sound that is both strong and spicy Sleeptalking presented their fellow Bristolians with a consistently high octane performance. Their unique sound lending itself to significant artists such as Nirvana and The Doors as well as shoegaze bands such as My Bloody Valentine. Mercurial frontman, Tom Nozek led the energetic proceedings of evening, bounding into the audience at regular intervals, parting the blanket of bodies below the stage like the red sea allowing the audience to enter his realm. Playing high energy tracks such as ‘Professional Dreamer,’ ‘Lazy Bones’ and ‘Glass House’ audience participation came to a climax towards the end of their set when Tom invited the crowd to all sit down and leap up in the crux of the track ‘Stranger Days’ this captivating conclusion leaving the crowd in high spirits.
