In the follow up to the release of their second EP “EP 2”, Italian 3 piece Husky Loops have started to make a lasting splash not only in the U.K., but across Europe altogether, off the back of supporting big-baller rockers Placebo on their 20th Anniversary European Tour.
With a sound hard to put in the corner, a deep rooted love of infectiously funky grooves over heavy guitar lines, lay the foundation for lead singer Danio Fornio’s silky Italian voice to spool into the magical snowstorm of Husky Loop’s unique lyric world.
The first single off EP 2: "Girl Who Wants to Travel the World", was debuted on Radio 1 by national champion of new music discovery, Huw Stephens. Stephens and Mistajam represent just two of many tastemakers buzzing about the Loops’ recent release, with major blog The Line of Best Fit giving it an impressive 8/10 in their review of the EP.
If you enjoy the record then you'd be a damn fool to miss their next live show, which might not be for some time now, having postponed a load of UK dates to once again hit the road supporting another dope band, Spoon.
