My work is inseparable from the things I have felt, seen, and witnessed. Each piece that I make acts as a marker, almost like a milestone or a bookmark, referencing a time or a point in my life. I never like to consistently work in one medium; for me, I feel as though I am at my best when I am experimenting; I like to utilise chance and risk to create works I did not initially expect- I am an intuitive artist by nature.
My aim is to give the audience a glimpse into my perspective of the world. I want them to see the craziness the horror, the love, the fear that I see around me on a daily basis. Above all, I strive for my emotions to be captured in each piece I make, like lightning in a bottle.
I am currently 21 years old studying fine art at Central Saint Martins College of Art. I also co- run and co- curate “Boys Don’t Cry” (founded in June 2018) , a rotating art collective that aims to raise awareness around men’s mental health within the creative industry. We are now working on putting on our second major show in October of this year.
